The Environmental Affairs Committee works to improve our public outdoor spaces by organizing events that provide education and opportunities for involvement for our residents. Emphasis is placed on waste reduction and sustainable solutions that preserve our community’s landscape and natural resources.

Here’s how you can:
  • Attend the meeting – Governing Board and Committee Meetings are open to the general public. Please see our events calendar for dates and locations.
  • Submit public comment – Members of the public may submit public comment for any agenda item or on matters not appearing on this Agenda within the Council’s jurisdiction either prior to the meeting or during the period allotted for public comment.

  • by attending the meeting in person and submitting public comment during the public comment period of the meeting.
