Public Health & Safety

The Public Health & Safety Committee focuses on emergency preparedness, crime prevention, and identifying and avoiding potential health risks in the community. To that end, the committee regularly hosts guest LAPD officers at meetings, organizes neighborhood cleanups, provides general guidelines on seasonal health and safety concerns, and manages the Los Feliz Emergency Radio Network. Attend the meeting – Governing Board and Committee Meetings are open to the general public. Please see our events calendar for dates and locations.
Submit public comment – Members of the public may submit public comment for any agenda item or on matters not appearing on this Agenda within the Council’s jurisdiction either prior to the meeting or during the period allotted for public comment.
