Education

The Education Committee supports Los Feliz schools and encourages the educational and physical development of students by: spearheading programs that provide items for at-need students, identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting school staff and administration, and promoting the safety of the Los Feliz student population. Schools in the Los Feliz area include John Marshall High School, Thomas Starr King Middle School, Franklin Avenue Elementary School, Los Feliz Elementary School, St. Casimir Catholic Elementary School, and Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA).

  • Attend the meeting – Governing Board and Committee Meetings are open to the general public. Please see our events calendar for dates and locations.
  • Submit public comment – Members of the public may submit public comment for any agenda item or on matters not appearing on this Agenda within the Council’s jurisdiction either prior to the meeting or during the period allotted for public comment.

  • by attending the meeting in person and submitting public comment during the public comment period of the meeting.
